Hikaru Takata is an artist who creates works using various media, such as photography, video, performance, and installation. His practice focuses on the records of urban exploration and fieldwork, while confronting the personal memories and internal reflections that accompany those experiences.

To date, he has presented his work at the Ichihara Lakeside Museum (2018 / Ichihara, Chiba), HAITSU (2021 / Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo), LAID BUG (2023, 2024, 2026 / Daikanyama, Tokyo), HVW8 Gallery (2024 / Berlin, Germany), and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (2025 / Kanazawa, Ishikawa).
